FUNDAMENTALS OF JOINT APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (JAD)

COURSE HOME

JAD focuses on the use of highly structured, well planned, facilitated meetings to rapidly identify and define key components of system development projects. In these JAD sessions the Facilitator, Scribe, End User and IT project team members effectively obtain and document written requirements and specifications which serve as project baselines.

This seminar teaches the essential skills and techniques needed to effectively plan, organize, facilitate, participate in and document JAD Planning, Requirements and Design Sessions. Special emphasis is placed on integration of JAD within a development methodology as well as strengthening facilitation skills.
