COURSE SYNOPSIS
This course will address the processes by which a Business Analyst can work with a client to elicit business or design requirements. During the class, the student will learn about elicitation and research approaches, various interaction techniques, and how to define and document the business domain of a project. As part of this course, the student will understand how to analyze and document a model of the current system.
The student will understand how to elicit and assess information, interviewing techniques, how to facilitate collaborative sessions, how to conduct observation of process and personnel.
Additionally, techniques will be present for conflict resolution, how to work with non-cooperative clients, how to apply abstract or non-linear thinking techniques.
