COURSE SYNOPSIS
This course examines the technique of conducting document, form, reports, process, procedure, and policy material to extract business rules, entities, attributes, and relationships to processes. For many projects, these written materials are prime locations of key information that can help build an “as-is” model. The student will learn critical reading and organization skills that can assist them in extracting information from existing data sources.
BABOK REFERENCE
This course addresses and expands Section 4.4. An abbreviated set of these materials is included in the IIBA07 course. This course is for a team that wants more in-depth hands-on experience with document analysis techniques.
