COURSE SYNOPSIS
This course presents a variety of observation techniques that may be used by a Business Analyst to observe work processes for the purposes of collecting requirements or assessing the impact of a proposed change on a system.
Two primary techniques are examined: passive (invisible) or active (visible). Passive techniques include direct observation, logging, video work flow documentation (with MS-PowerPoint ©) or other tools. Active techniques include interactive participation, actual work performance.

An abbreviated set of these materials is included in the IIBA07 course. This course is for a team that wants more in-depth hands-on experience with observation techniques.
