COURSE SYNOPSIS
This course examines facilitated requirements sessions. These are often called Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, and may also be know as Facilitated Requirements Collection, or Joint Requirements Planning (JRP).
Regardless of the specific name, these sessions share a common structure, a set of rules, and roles. The student will learn how to identify participants, plan the meeting, conduct pre-work and interviews, work with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and to create all of the required documentation.
BABOK REFERENCE
This course addresses and expands Section 4.10. An abbreviated set of these materials is included in the IIBA07 course. This course is for a team that wants more in-depth hands-on experience with requirements workshops.
