COURSE SYNOPSIS
This course presents the role of the Business Analyst in the software testing life cycle. Specifically, their role in system and user acceptance testing phases is outlines, with emphasis on developing test strategies, coverage, testing techniques, test and defect tracking, and certification/signoff of test results.
Students will analyze simulated system processes and devise test strategies to ensure coverage.
BABOK REFERENCE
This course is outside the IIBA guidelines. However, many organizations require that Business Analysts participate in certain software testing activities. This course was developed to support those activities.
