What is it that Business and Systems Analysts do when constructing a Business Solution deliverable? They routinely create complex technical solutions to meet a business need that has been expressed through a Business Requirements document.
This process is frequently called Systems Analysis, or Specification Writing. It is followed in the software development life cycle by Programming, Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Implementation phases.
These courses in this curriculum address the key steps in preparing a written functional specification suitable for development activities. Our focus is on mid-size projects, however, we will address both large scale endeavors and smaller projects as well.
Our courses address Functional Specification writing, diagramming techniques, menus and navigations, screen design, interface specification, report design, analysis and review practices, and specification traceability.
